When I installed studio one 4, it seemed to come with melodyne essential. I had melodyne 3 on my last computer, and it was a standalone, and I hated transporting vocal stems in and out (it was really confusing and annoying to keep track of), so I feel melodyne would be awesome as plugin right?Īnyway, another thing thats confusing me. Which is why I only want to buy assistant, as I read it had just enough for manipulating vocals. First and foremost, would I want to use it as a plugin, or as a standalone? Which is better? I'll be using it just for vocals, not instruments or anything else. So my goal is to have melodyne 5 assistant, and I dont know what the best way to go about this is, for a few reasons.
